Japans economy rose during the las half of the xx century with the help of contract workers who came to Tokyo from diferent parts of the country.
They helped to construct part of the present metropolis and now there is no more work for them, the government and social system can not or wont sustain them anymore.Many of this daylabourers are living in the streets in poor conditions and the only help they receive its from volunteer groups. Sanya is one of the neighbourhoods where all these men still live and survive everyday.
